“No Other Place” is my second collaboration between San Fransisco shoegaze-grunge band Chokecherry, following 2023’s “Glass Jaw”. We shot overnight in Ridgefield, Connecticut in mid-July, 2024. For the motorcycle driving sequences, myself, Shoop, and Michael designed and built a pair of motorcycle driving rigs. For the close-up performance shots on the bikes, we rigged the lighting, camera, motorcycles, and myself to a Home Depot motorcycle trailer with the lights run into a 6500W generator in the back of our tow pickup truck. For the wider driving shots, we rigged the camera, a 600D, and 2 300Ds in the back of the pickup truck and led the motorcycles. The video was released on August 9th and has garnered 19k views.
